PROJECT DESCRIPTION:
The Project involves the construction of a new one-story addition, and renovation of portions of the existing building.
The approximate size of the renovation is: 448sf
The approximate size of the addition is: 3,405sf
TO POTENTIAL BIDDERS:
Notice is hereby given that sealed bids from General Contractors will be received by the Owner for the above noted project until July 16th, 2026 @ 1:00pm.
Bids will be received at the following location:
Town of Guernsey
81 West Whalen Street
Guernsey, Wyoming
Bids will be opened publicly and read aloud.

A Non-Mandatory Pre-Bid Conference will be held at July 1st, 2026 @ 1:00pm at the following location:
Guernsey Library
100 South Wyoming Avenue
Guernsey, Wyoming
Although the Pre-Bid Conference is for informational purposes only, and is not mandatory, attendance is highly recommended for:
General Contractors
Mechanical Contractors
Plumbing Contractors
Electrical Contractors
Each bid shall be accompanied by bid security, surety bond, certified check payable to the Owner, or cashiers check payable to the Owner, in the amount of five percent (5%) of the maximum amount of the proposal, pledging that the Bidder will enter into a Contract with the Owner on the terms stated in the Bid and will furnish bonds covering the faithful performance of the contract and the payment of all obligations arising thereunder.
Bids shall remain open and irrevocable for a period of forty-five (45) days after the bid date.
Additional bidding requirements and project information is included in the Instructions To Bidders and other documents included in the Project Manual.
The Owner shall have the right to waive irregularities and informalities in the bidding process or in any bid received, to reject any or all bids without further obligation and to accept any bid that, in the Owner’s judgment, is in the Owner’s best interests.
