WHEATLAND – For the third year in a row, the local chapter of Combat Veterans Motorcycle Association is hosting a veterans benefit bowling tournament.
Sign-up is on-site for the Boneheads tournament is a 9-pin no tap with two shifts with 1 p.m. and 4 p.m. start times at the cost of $30 per person. The event will take place Saturday, Nov. 8 at Big Dog Lanes (16th Street) in Wheatland. The public is encouraged to participate in the fundraiser benefiting veterans, which will also include a 50/50 raffle, rifle raffle and a silent auction.
Event organizer Matthew Berry announced all proceeds will benefit Veterans living in Goshen, Platte and Niobrara counties and the extended area.
