A Torrington man was severely injured and life-flighted in an accident last Friday afternoon just west of Guernsey on Highway on 26.

GUERNSEY—As of press time Monday afternoon, the condition of a Torrington man who was seriously injured in a one-vehicle accident near Guernsey Friday afternoon remains unknown.
Mark Zimmerman, an employee for Zell Cooling and Heating of Torrington, lost control of the company service van he was driving around 12:45 p.m. approximately 1.5 miles west of Guernsey on U.S. Highway 26.

According to one of the responding officers from the Guernsey Police Department, the driver was ejected from the vehicle during the accident, sustaining life-threatening injuries.
