GUERNSEY – The Guernsey-Sunrise Lady Vikings varsity team competed against 1A rival, the Hulett Red Devils, this past weekend.
It was a close game, with the Vikings falling by a score of 30-27.
Coach Daeh recapped the game, “Liberty White Bird had the biggest game of the year, with 21 points, three rebounds, five steals, and one block. The girls played with hearts of champions, only losing by three points.”
In the game, the Guernsey-Sunrise team had the fewest turnovers this year at 13, and the most steals with 21.
Whitebird, Jordan Atwood, and Alyssa Nyquist, led the team in steals and rebounds. AllyAnn Dimas is sixth in blocked shots for the 1A east conference part of the state.
