HANNA – The Guernsey-Sunrise high school and middle school volleyball teams were in Hanna Elk Mountain on Saturday. The Lady Vikings prevailed winning three sets to one over the Miners.
Head Coach Talon Collar recapped the match, “The lady Vikings started strong with a decent lead. Hit a wall and were slow to climb out. The lady Vikings worked hard to fight for a win and took the match in four sets with some amazing rallies. It’s always fun to play with Hanna because you must always play to the whistle. Both Miners and Vikings will play scrappy and until the bitter end keeping fans on the edge of their seats!”
Final scores for the sets on the Oct. 4 game against HEM were 25-1, 18-25, 27-25, 25-23.
