Guernsey golf takes fifth place in 2A conference championship

WRIGHT –The GSHS golf team competed at the Spring 2A Conference Championship in Wright on Friday and Saturday.
Isaac Cdebaca placed third, shooting a 77-74 two-day total.
Bear Gretch earned 19th, shooting 97-97 over two days.
Julian Rodriguez placed 30th, shooting 120 -109.

Adam Bandalos earned 36th, shooting 124-127 total.
Lukas Rotz placed 39th with 134-140.
The Guernsey Vikings boys team finished in fifth place overall.
The GSHS girls placed third at the 2A Conference Championships.
Jordan Atwood earned 18th with a 128-129 two-day total.
Allyann Dimas placed 22nd, shooting 140-136. Dymond Dimas earned 24th at 184-154.
“I’m incredibly proud to be a part of this growth for our school and our athletics,” said head golf coach Haiden Martinez about this first year of Guernsey-Sunrise Viking golf.
“It’s exciting to see our students step onto the course with passion, discipline, and a drive to grow – not just as athletes, but as individuals. This is just the beginning of a new tradition we hope will thrive for years to come,” coach Martinez said.
