GUERNSEY – Kierstyn Collar, a dynamic outside hitter for the Lady Vikings earned All-Conference honors for the 1A East Volleyball Conference.
Kierstyn finished the season with 162 kills, 396 digs, and 66 aces for her team. The bonus is: Guernsey will get one more season with Kierstyn as she is only a junior.
Head volleyball coach Coach Talon Collar stated, “Kierstyn has dedicated so much time to the sport she loves and has a passion to play. From a young age, Kierstyn started performing skills associated with volleyball. As she grew, she attended volleyball camps near and far, such as Jackson, Boulder and Fort Collins in Colorado, as well as Spearfish, South Dakota.
Kierstyn was also a player for Team America, playing in the Dominican Republic this past July and earning her spot to play each game in its entirety. This dedication and commitment to the sport has earned Kierstyn the selection as an All-Conference player.”
The Guernsey Gazette congratulates Kierstyn and the Lady Vikings on being represented on the All-Conference list.
