GUERNSEY – Four teams will head to state from the 1A East Regional Tournament: Southeast, Upton, Lingle and Lusk. The championship match featured the Cyclones versus the Bobcats.
Southeast finished on top in a five set thriller: 25-16, 22-25, 26-24, 19-25 and 15-9. The third and fourth place match showcased talent from Lingle and Lusk. The Lusk Tigers finished fourth to qualify for the state tournament, the first time in eight years. Lingle will be third seed for the 1A State Tournament. Brackets are available on the whsaa.org website, scores will be updated as games are played.
