GUERNSEY – The Vikings hosted the Hornets of Pine Bluffs on Friday at Viking Stadium.
Guernsey-Sunrise played hard but it was a tough match up against the number-two football team in 1A, and the Vikings fell short 6-70.
The offense was able to earn a total of 126 yards, including eight passing attempts for 23 yards. The game had some crowd-stomping plays, however, including when Connor Bristow gave the crowd a thrill with an 80-yard kick return for a touchdown.
For the Vikings, Tim Radcliffe, Jayden Wagner-Gross, and Kaiser Edwards led the defensive effort.
