Treat Street is coming on October 31st from 4:00 until 5:30 p.m. Businesses on Whalen and Wyoming are encourage to take part and let the little ghosts and goblins come by for Trick or Treat. The Town of Guernsey and Guernsey Economic and Tourism Development Corporation are again urging the businesses on Whalen and Wyoming Street to get in the Halloween spirit for Treat Street on October 31st.
Guernsey Economic and Tourism Development Corporation is trying something new this year as part of Treat Street. With Treat Street from 4:00 until 5:30 and the Lions Club Carnival from 6:00 until 8:00 on Halloween night, children are kept busy and donít go into the community and Trick or Treat. People are not getting the Trick or Treaters that they use to get and they donít get to see the kids in their costumes. People that would like to have Trick or Treaters can come down to Sunrise Street between Wyoming and Dakota Avenues and park their cars, open their trunks and let the Trick or Treaters come on by.
Trunk or Treat will be from 4:00 until 5:30 p.m. just like Treat Street. Stop by and take a look, you might get an idea for next year, or you might get a treat.
