GUERNSEY-The nightmare continues for Normative Services Academy football program as the Wolves endured yet another unbalanced loss, this time at the hands of the Guernsey-Sunrise Vikings Monday afternoon on the Vikesí home turf.
The Vikings handed the Wolves their fifth loss in as many starts this season, a 77-0 runaway that was originally scheduled for last Friday and postponed due to an very early winter storm that hit most of the Cowboy state.
The game was never in question as the Vikings jumped out to a 28-0 lead in the first quarter and pushed that to 57-0 by halftime. They added 14 more points in the third and six more in the final quarter to get the win. It was another dismal effort for the Wolves as they have yet to put any points on the scoreboard this season.
Guernsey-Sunrise rolled up 232 yards on the ground and added another 115 through the air to post 347 total yards of offense.
Up next for the Vikings is a trip to Midwest to face the undefeated, top-ranked Oilers (5-0) on Friday, October 11. Kick-off is set for 6 p.m. The junior high game will begin at 4 p.m.
The Vikes have just three games left in the regular season. Next week the Vikes will host Saratoga (18th) and they will finish up with Kaycee on the 25th. Playoffs begin the following week.
