Booster Club asks for send-off support

GUERNSEY-The Guernsey-Sunrise Booster Club is asking members of the community to show their support for the Viking boys basketball team by gathering at the west river bridge Thursday morning in a special send-off as they head to Casper for the state basketball tournament.

Their bus is scheduled to leave town at 9 a.m. so organizers are asking that fans be at the bridge at 8:45 a.m.

The Vikings’ first round game is set for Thursday at 1:30 p.m. at the Events Center. They will face Ten Sleep, the number two seed from the West regional.
