Make the season bright!

Winter’s Eve is set for Wednesday, December 5th. The community celebration will help kick off the holiday season with an evening of special events. beginning with a dinner at the VFW to the community Christmas tree lighting and the lighted parade, it will be a great evening.

To help make the community look even more festive, business owners on Wyoming Avenue and Whalen Street are asked to decorate their business windows with lights for the holidays.

To help celebrate Winter’s Eve and the holiday season, lighted windows will help make the community look like a bright spot on people’s travels and for the citizens of Guernsey as they celebrate Winter’s Eve.

Don’t forget to get your parade entries in as soon as possible. Prizes will be awarded for the top three entries. Forms available at the Economic Development office.
