The Lingle-Fort Laramie Doggers outscored the Vikings 16-7 in the final eight minutes to claim a 51-39 win in the Viking gym last Thursday evening.
In a game that was close through the first three quarters, the loss was a frustrating one for a Viking team that is struggling to find a rhythm this season.
Troy Hunt kept the Vikes close as he canned five three-pointers and added one free-throw in those first three quarters but foul trouble changed the intensity of his game in the final eight minutes and he finished with those 16 points and collected seven rebounds.
Kyler Copsey added eight points and cleared a pair of boards.
Kevin Boomhower also had eight points and claimed one rebound.
