GUERNSEY--The Lady Vikings continued their long journey last weekend, dropping games to Lingle-Fort Laramie and Kaycee.
On Thursday, they faced a very tough 11-1 Dogger team, ranked second in the state in 1-A Girls. It was no surprise that the Vikes came up very short, falling 61-17.
On Saturday, the Lady Buckaroos took a 50-22 win back to Kaycee.
On Friday, the Vikes head to Moorcroft to take on a team that offers them a realistic shot at getting their second win of the season. Similar to Guernsey-Sunrise, Moorcroft is also in a building cycle, posting a 1-11 record to date. The junior varsity will begin at 4 p.m. and the varsity is set to tip-off at 5:30 p.m.
Saturday, Southeast comes to Guernsey. Junior varsity games begin at 1 p.m. and the varsity girls will tip-off at 2:30 p.m.
The games originally scheduled with Chugwater on the 29th have been cancelled as the Buffs were not able to field a team this season.
