Vikes climb to 8-2 with wins over Morrill, Glendo

GUERNSEY-The Guernsey-Sunrise Vikings continued smooth sailing through another weekend of basketball games with wins over Morrill (NE) and Glendo.

On Friday, the Vikes outscored the Lions 43-20 in the second half to notch a 74-45 win over one of two Nebraska teams they face in the regular season schedule.

On Saturday, the Viking varsity headed to Glendo for a matchup with the Eagles. With the Eagles suiting up just six players, Viking Head Coach Troy Reichert skipped the press and kept the defense back to keep the competition a bit more level. But even with those concessions, the Vikes still left Glendo with a 52-10 win.
