Vikings head to playoffs with win over Red Devils

HULETT--The Guernsey-Sunrise Vikings secured a home field advantage for the first round of the Class 1-A Six Man playoffs with an 81-6 win over the Hulett Red Devils last Saturday. It was all Vikings, right from the first kick-off and nothing changed throughout the game.

Lady Vikes move on to regional tourney in Casper

GUERNSEY--The Guernsey-Sunrise Lady Vikings topped the Lady Eagles from Glendo and earned the right to fill the final berth in the 1-A East Regional Volleyball Tournament to be held in Casper this weekend.
The Vikings took the match in three straight games, winning in games 25-18, 25-18, and 25-21.

GUERNSEY--When Rock River High School fielded a team of less than 10 players for this season, they likely knew it was going to be a rough one--and it has been.
By game time Friday night at Guernsey-Sunrise, the Longhorns had just seven players in uniform. By half time, they'd had enough.

Lady Vikes fall to L-FL; get win over Lady Eagles

GUERNSEY--The Lady Vikings bowed to Lingle-Fort Laramie last Friday but picked up a three-game win over the Glendo Lady Eagles earlier in the week on Monday. At Glendo, the Lady Vikes prevailed 25-23, 25-16 and 25-21.
At Lingle-Fort Laramie, the Lady Doggers made it look easy as they won 25-8, 25-10 and 25-4.
