GUERNSEY-Wyoming State Senator Mike Enzi will be the featured speaker at this yearís Veteranís Day Program to be held next Monday, November 11th in the East gymnasium. The ceremonies will begin at 9 a.m. and the Color Guard will be comprised of members of the VFW and American Legion. Platte County Sheriff Steve Keigley will serve as Master of Ceremonies for the program. Music will be provided by the Guernsey-Sunrise Junior-Senior High School Band and the Guernsey-Sunrise High School Choir.
All veterans in the audience will be asked to stand in recognition of their service to our country.
This program is open to everyone in the community, and all K-12 students will also be in attendance.
There will be a brief time for the public to visit with the Senator following the program in the G-S Board Room.
The program is sponsored by Guernsey Outreach Center, VFW Lake Guernsey Post #4471, and American Legion JJ Webb Unit #95.
