This Thursday will be a spooktacular day for the community with Treat Street starting at 4:00 and going until 5:30. Parents are encouraged to accompany their children while they are out to be sure they are safe. Parents need to help their children as they cross streets and to be sure they check their candy when they get home. Children are also encouraged to take a trip up Sunrise Street between Wyoming and Whalen to see who is there with their Trunk and Treats.
The Lions Club Halloween Carnival will be at the West Gym of the High School from 6 to 8 p.m. The community is encouraged to attend and enjoy a great evening of family fun. Games and food will be available. After the carnival, the Haunted House of Horror will be open until 10 p.m..at Weber's Auction Barn.
Guernsey Economic and Tourism Development Corporation and the Town of Guernsey sponsor Treat Street and Trunk or Treat. The Halloween Carnival is sponsored by the Guernsey Lions Club. Weber Auction Sales and the Guernsey Volunteer Fire Department sponsor the Haunted House. All of these groups want the children of the community to have a safe and fun Halloween.
