Treat Street, Halloween Carnival to provide fun

Information will be forthcoming soon to local merchants regarding Guernsey’s Treat Street trick-or-treating event.

Established a few years back, the event has become a highly successful affair, with merchants getting into the spirit of the holiday with costumes and themed decorations.

Held the afternoon of Halloween, businesses along Whalen and Wyoming Streets are open to an array of characters and provide a safe and fun way for parents to escort young children along the designated route. Participating businesses are marked with special signs and will provide treats from 3:30 to 5 p.m.

The time frame has been specifically selected to allow families to attend the annual Halloween Carnival at the Guernsey-Sunrise Schools later that same day.
