Emergency prep class offered here

Were you prepared for the possible evacuation in Guernsey a few weeks ago or prepared for the reality of an evacuation if you are a resident of Pleasant Valley or Hartville?

We were fortunate to have advance warning and to be able to prepare ourselves for the possibility and reality. But, what about the next time an emergency of any kind occurs-will you be prepared or will you be scrambling to find your important papers and other essentials?

Join us for a class on how to prepare ourselves on Tuesday, July 10 at 7 p.m. at Guernsey-Sunrise High School. Our local and county emergency management personnel will share information on the best way to prepare for emergencies of all kinds.

Lead instructors will include Bev Spungin, Guernsey’s Emergency Management Coordinator and Cherie Wilson from Platte County Public Health. This free offering is brought to you by the Guernsey Outreach Center.
