Out on top...Vikes win it all!

The Guernsey-Sunrise Viking football team finished the 2014 season in Laramie Friday afternoon with their second state championship in Class 1-A Six Man in five years and their fourth title in the past 10 years. The Vikings defeated the Dubois Rams 80-30 to complete the year with a perfect 11-0 record.

Delgado wins; two new faces on council

GUERNSEY--Official results have been released in Platte County for the General Election of 2014.
Guernsey Mayor Ed Delgado was re-elected to another 4-year term and the city council will welcome new members Greg Martinez and Melodie Sturdivant.
Delgado received 294 votes to retain his position, defeating challenger Joe Michaels who received 134 votes.
