Former Guernsey resident 320 fatality

WHEATLAND--A single vehicle motorcycle crash led to the 20th highway fatality in Wyoming for 2015 on March 15th. Thirty-five year old William E. Welsbacher of Wheatland, Wyoming, was on Wyoming Highway 320 at the time of the crash on a 2005 Harley-Davidson Motorcycle. Barker resigns to take position at Lander

GUERNSEY--Platte County School District 2 will have their "help wanted" sign out very soon as they begin the search for a new district superintendent.
Superintendent Dave Barker has resigned to take the superintendent's position with the Fremont County School District #1 in Lander, WY effective July 1, 2015.
Barker came to Guernsey-Sunrise in 2006 from the principal's position in Oshkosh,
